Phylloxera Resurfaces in Yarra Valley Vineyard - Update
Foster’s Group Limited (Foster’s) confirmed the continued presence of the grapevine insect pest phylloxera in its Beavis vineyard in the Yarra Valley wine growing region earlier this week.
Following the preliminary results of expanded testing, Foster’s today decided to destroy all remaining vines in the 32 hectare Beavis vineyard, commencing immediately.
