Foster's Awards 2010 Community Grants
Foster's is pleased to announce the 2010 Foster's Community Grants awardees.
For the fifth year, Foster's has awarded non-profit groups across Australia and in North America with cash grants to enable the delivery of community projects in the areas of health and wellness, including alcohol treatment and education, arts & culture and the environment.
Led by an independent Committee and chaired by General Peter Cosgrove, Foster's Grants program is an important community initiative that complements existing local employee-driven contributions and long-term community partnerships.
Projects are principally assessed on the quality of the community benefit they propose to deliver within a local community and the long-term viability of the project. Only incorporated not-for-profit groups and charities are eligible for funding.
Since launching in 2006, Foster's Grants program has provided funding for 176 community projects across Australia and North America to the value of $4.9 million.
