Foster's Group Limited today announced the appointment of Mr David Crawford to the Board of Directors.
Mr Crawford retired in June 2001 from a distinguished 30-year career with KPMG, where he was Partner and National Chairman. In his role as National Chairman, Mr Crawford was also a member of the International Board of KPMG and was Chairman of the International Professional Indemnity Insurance Committee of KPMG International.
During his time with KPMG, Mr Crawford acted as a consultant and/or advisor to several major corporations and government departments. He is currently a director of BHP Billiton and Lend Lease Corporation Limited.
The Chairman of Foster's, Mr Frank Swan, welcomed the appointment of Mr Crawford to the Board of Foster's.
"On behalf of shareholders, we are delighted to secure the services of Mr Crawford. His extensive experience in financial management across a range of public and private sector organizations is a welcome addition to the Board during this dynamic period in the company's history", Mr Swan said.
