Foster's Brewing Group Limited today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Cellarmaster Wines Pty Limited had increased its relevant interest to more than 90% of Wine Planet Holdings Limited.
Cellarmaster will proceed to compulsorily acquire any Wine Planet shares for which acceptances are not received by the close of the offer.
The offer closes on 11 May 2001 and will not be extended. Foster's assumed control of the Wine Planet Board and declared its 35 cents a share offer final and unconditional on Thursday.
