With a focus on wellness, culture and the environment, our long-standing community partnerships allow our partners to grow and prosper whilst also giving our people the opportunity to become more involved with their local community.

Red Dust Role Models

Our long-term partnership with Red Dust Role Models provides direct support for the delivery of healthy lifestyle educational programs in remote indigenous communities.

The Red Dust program also gives our employees the opportunity to participate in a cultural exchange program within these communities, enabling our people to develop a sense of community and the opportunity to evolve into community ambassadors.

Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA)

With Foster's support, Conservation Volunteers has mobilised hundreds of volunteers, including our people, to work together on tasks including native tree planting, weed control, exclusion fencing and walking track maintenance.

Our partnership with CVA centres on communities where our people live and work, including Yarra Bend Park in Victoria; Pimpana River in Queensland; Knuckey Lagoons Nature Reserve in the Territory; Perth's Northern Beaches in Western Australia; Homebush Bay in New South Wales; the Barossa Valley in South Australia; and Mt Wellington in Tasmania.

In 2009, Foster’s embarked on a two year project with CVA, the Hobart City Council and the Tasmanian Government to construct a walking track in the foothills of Mt Wellington near our Cascade Brewery.

The walk will allow visitors to experience the beauty of Mt Wellington’s natural habitat, whilst maintaining and protecting the surrounding environment.

The Cascade Walking Track is scheduled to open late 2010.
